The Hawkshaw is a fully electric radiator that requires no plumbing, making it a fast and efficient way to add heat to a period property. It is supplied with integrated feet and wall stays, and comes fully assembled ready to be installed.
It comes with a Wi-Fi compatible electric element as standard which can be programmed remotely via the Supla smartphone app or temperatures can be adjusted manually using the hand held remote controller included. The Supla app can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play, and offers full daily/weekly programming of the radiator, with multiple radiators able to be controlled through the app.
It is possible to set the controller to regulate the room temperature or the temperature of the water inside the radiator. It also features a turbo boost function which offers a quick heat up time for occasional use.
Available in Primer, White RAL 9010, Anthracite RAL 7016 and other RAL/Special Finishes. The delivery time is 10 to 15 working days for all orders.
Please note these are pre-filled cast iron radiators which are extremely heavy with weights up to 122kg depending on the size ordered. All deliveries would be made on a pallet which would be offloaded to the nearest hard standing area (kerbside).
Please note that 'Primer' is not a finished colour and must be overpainted. The radiator should be finished with a paint suitable for radiators. We advise not to use any water based paints as they can lead to rust patches. We recommend using a spray paint as it’s easier to reach the middle columns and achieve a consistent finish than using a brush. Not suitable for powder coating.
Please note that the slightly rough texture of cast iron radiators is part of their character and appeal. However if you would prefer a more modern smooth finish, we would suggest a steel multicolumn radiator, such as the Modus Electric.
